🚘 Brian – A Generous Man… By Accident! 😇💥

Every week we hear the same thing and it makes no sense…
This is Brian.
Lovely bloke. Drives a shiny blue Toyota. Polite. Mild mannered. The kind of guy who still says “please” to Alexa. 🫶
Then one day – BANG! 💥
Someone reverses into his pride and joy.
No panic. No road rage. Just the usual classic line from the guilty party:
👉 “Go get some quotes and I’ll pay.”
And what did Brian do?
Did he demand the best repair?
Did he protect his car like it was one of his own kids?
No.
Brian did as he was told.
Like a good lad, he burned fuel ⛽, wasted hours ⏳, and spent the day chasing the cheapest quotes… for them. 😩
After collecting five quotes (yes, FIVE 🤯), Brian picked the rock bottom one. Bare bones. No frills. Just enough to make the other person say, “Yeah alright then.”
Bear in mind we quoted Brian
We had a proper look 👀. Turns out the wheel had taken a knock. There’s a good chance the alignment was out — not noticeable yet…
…but give it a few months, and your tyres are wearing funny, the handling’s off, and suddenly that “cheap” repair gets real expensive. 🎯
A few days passed and I phoned Brian.
“Brian how are you getting on with your damage”.
"Brian said “all sorted thanks, I’ve gone with the cheapest price”
“Did the price include wheel alignment checks?” I asked.
His reply?
😇 “No, I’ll pay for that myself later.”
Wait, what?!
So let’s recap:

3️⃣ Brian chooses a cut-price repair to keep the other person happy
4️⃣ Brian agrees to pay for the extra bits out of his own pocket 😳

If someone crashes into your car…
Don’t be a Brian!
Don’t spend your day running around to make them feel better.
